The central market in Quảng Ngãi city sells kẹo gương, mạch nha and rock sugar — three things that go together. Buy Lý Sơn garlic on the island itself to be sure of it; garlic from elsewhere is often mixed in. On the former Kon Tum side, ngọc linh ginseng vine and dried bamboo shoots are sold in Kon Tum city.
